Been trying to install a Technika VGA webcam on my laptop. Ran the CD with drivers on it and installshield runs for a few steps, gets near the end and minimizes to taskbar and doesn't continue (it should pop back up again and ask me to click finish). I have to end the process in Task Manager.
I have tried the install on another machine and it runs perfectly. So obviously there is something on my machine stopping it from continuing. I have tried everything and nothing works. I just can't figure it out. Can anyone shed any light ? Help much appreciated. |

Assuming this is XP, have you got sp1/sp2 INSTALLED ?

Yes XP Service pack is installed. Windows Installer 3.1 is also present on the computer. Haven't ran a virus scan recently no but Ill try that, im not that hopeful it will help.
