Ok so I know that when you delete a file it doesnt get removed, it just loses it place in the file system. When i had XP i use to use DataRecovery to Remove those files (and clear anywhere from 3-4 gb up off my HD).
NOW I had DataRecovery a while back, and when i went to wipe those files, it said that as a precaution measure it WOULD NOT remove these files off the vista OS partion (C:). Now i would like to know were to get a program for Vista that DOES remove these files, so i can keep my disk clean once again. |

Eraser. Freeware. Be sure you don't need it because Eraser removes items for good. http://www.heidi.ie/
