My friend is having a problem with her computer, she cannot seem to get onto the internet and sometimes it just shuts down and she gets this error message.

avgnsx.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, when i clicked on the message it said something about internet explorer,

Can anyone help

avgnsx.exe is part of AVG Antivirus.

If you go into AVG's setings and disable the Link Scanner, the problem should go away.

Hi there. My friend did what was suggested but still the same problem, somebody told her to uninstall AVG and then install the lastest version. After she had uninstalled, she still cant get on the internet and gets a message saying Website Security Certificate. Is there anyone that can help
