Hello Everybody, I'm a stay at home mom and I don't know to much about computers so I am here to learn. My eldest daughter uses the computer as well as me and she has some stuff I want to put on DVD, but how do I get that far?

Please be gentle with me.

Thank you

Does any one know the answer to this question or that could recommend some software for me to use?

I really need to burn off some data even to CD'S as well as DVD'S, so all your input is much appreciated!

Thank you

I have always used Nero for burning both my music Cds and DVDs. I find it easy to use, and it has a lot of options like what to burn. Its inexpensive and you can normally buy it at anystore or at www.nero.com. Some users dont like it for some reason, but I see it as a pretty useful program. As far as free programs go, I dont know of anything else.

Thanks Glitch I have been waiting for someone to respond!

So with this Nero, is it easy for a complete new person? As I have never used a burning software before, also do they offer a free trial period so I can test it out?

Also thanks for your response much appreciated.

Yes they do offer a trial period. you can find the trial period on there website which I went ahead and got the address for you. It is here :

http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-demo.php

Also it is very user friendly. When you start up the program there will be a drop down box at the very top of the screen, click it to DVD then you will just click on what ever picture you want to do, music note = music and the notepad = documents/pictures...its pretty easy. It also comes with a help guide you can also download for free on the same page.

Thank you very much Glitch especially for the link to, I think I will be trying this free trial period straight away as I do need to get this data onto disk.

I shall get the guide to and have a quick read through that just to make sure I know what I am doing I don't want to go wasting Disks now do I!

Thank you very much
