I am interested in making a file of pictures with written phrases in English and Spanish. My grandson has gotten very interested in Spanish and his parents can't read Spanish. I would like to provide him with a collection of photos from a book he has, with English and Spanish phrases, fixed so he can click on individual words to hear them pronounced, or on another button to hear the entire phrase pronounced. I would provide the sound clips. It's the interface structure that has me puzzled. I did my programming in the pre-windows era, but I have done a little using VBA, the Visual Basic that comes with Excel.
Any suggestions? |

Hi

Easy to make a picture into a clickable button in Excel. Be aware though, that Excel cannot natively play sounds - there is, however, code available to make this happen. I'm guessing that this might be possible in things like Word or Powerpoint but I don't know any coding for those apps. What version of Excel would you be using? My System: It's all mine...
