Ok, So i had a friend who gave me a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 ultimate to try out, it was the downloaded exe.

I installed it and it worked, but now the trial period has run out. So i tried to go into uninstaller and taking it out. Heres where things go down hill

The uninstaller goes to "Collecting Setup data..." ect. Then it says "Setup can not continue because a required file is either corrupt or not available. Run setup from original source disk or download location." Ok says I. Go to it, just reinstalls. Alright, uninstall...
"Setup can not continue because a required file is either corrupt or not available. Run setup from original source disk or download location.".

OK. Now i thought that mabey if i downloaded it from the microsoft site i could get rid of it. It was a trial download of Office 2007 Pro. I installed it, and low and behold!
Uninstall... "Setup can not continue because a required file is either corrupt or not available. Run setup from original source disk or download location."

So now im lost. I have tried numerous time to get it to work. But it doesnt.

So two questions:
1) How in the bloody hell do i get this stuff OFF my computer
and
2) If there is no way to uninstall it, how would i go about removing it by hand? With deleting files, and going into Regedit and deleting stuff.

NOTE I have CCleaner if that helps at all. (after deleting the files, it just finds the bad registries and deletes them?)

Try Revo uninstaller

It first tries to pop up the normal uninstall for the program, then it searches for leftover files and registry keys. Since the uninstall doesn't work, you could try and get Revo to delete all the office files and registry. I've had a problem like this before, and Revo just deleted everything associated. There were 1000+ files, because the uninstalled didn't work.
