I have never seen this before. when I try to install aol, the certain point where I am at now, it looks like it dials through just fine but, then says there was a problem low on memory with 4 gigs of ram? I can right click on the AOL Icon in bottom right corner, and sign on using AOL Dialer just fine but get no aol home page? I have two hard drives in this system with full WIN XP Home on them. I tried to load the pogo game site then my aol went nuts whining and would not dial up any more period. well, I hooked up the other drive tried to get on pogo and darn, if the same thing didn't happen to it? I just recently, found out that I can dial up using the aol dialer but, don't know how to get the full AOL Software to fully install it goes on but, when it dials up it stops right there, and says low on memory? If anyone can figure this one out, my hats off to them. by the way, this is dialup

Are you downloading Aol from a cd?
The problem may be that the cd is out dated. Dose a small box popup saying Aol is downloading updates this needs to run. If you are using A new verison of Aol. I think it is Bata and will only work with DSL. Dual up is to slow. If you have a cd there is one thing you can try. First delete Aol from you computer then turn off your security and load AOL from the cd. Sometimes the firewall will block the download. You may wont to check the internet options on the general page look to see if http://www.aol.com is listed. Then in connection is aol your defult setting |

Thanks for the tips! I managed to get one drive working properly. I kept trying to uninstall the old version of aol from add and remove programs in control panel with no luck. so, I went to c drive programs found AOL there, and was able to totally uninstall all of aol components then, a fresh install of Aol works just fine. I'll try that on the other drive soon. Thanks Again!
