Im not sure if this is posted the right place, but here is my problem. I have these files i need to extract with winrar but they are over 4 gb in size so winrar says i cant unpack it, does anyone have a solution of how i can unpack this mayby with another program or so i dont know:P

I have concerns over your thread.

The fact you're asking how to unpack a rar file tells me you haven't packed it yourself.

Which means it's either a file share between you and a friend (in which case why pack using winrar in the first place?) or it's a download.

No legal download site pack's it's file's using winrar simply because it isn't the most efficient way.

Rar downloads are used on torrent sites because it means any leechers of a file have to download the whole file for it to work (pushing the seeder's ratio higher).

If it's a file-share, then the size "over 4gb" tells me it's a direct rip of a dvd or some albums or even software. In this case this is also illegal as it's file sharing copyrighted content. Even ripping for your own use is rather a grey area.

Therefore I'm locking this thread.

I have stated previously though that if you can prove to our satisfaction that a particular thread's content is of the legal variety we will of course unlock said thread.
