I keep having pop up windows on my computer saying that WMI encountered a problem and needed to close. The windows keep popping up every minute. I do not know what WMI is and I want to get rid of it. I have attached the screen shots of WMI pop up window, WMI error message and WMI error details.
Please let me know how to fix it. I simply want to get rid of WMI whatever it is. Thanx for all your help! |

You dont want to get rid of WMI, its Windows Management Interface and is a primary part of Windows.
The error is usually linked to home networks but not primarily so. You could try setting it to manual in the control panel, under tools>admin tasks.
