When I play a video or audio file using Windows media player and close WMP without stopping the file. The file keeps on playing I have to then go in to task manager and find it in the list and close it that way.

its happened to me
only had happened when i had too many programs running does it do it all the time?

this happend to me even logging of and switching users wouldnt work, have you tried re downloading wmp what one are you using 11?

This has happened to me once. You will have to re-install it and play it and see if this problem happens again. I have re-installed mine and it doesnt do that anymore. So take this advice and re-install it.

Could someone please give me the link to the download. I download WMP11 tryed to reinstall it but it told me I had a later version so I could not do it. Also now when you double click on an mp3 or video file it starts playing but does not load up WMP11.

Its either you have a virus or the programme doesnt respond.
