Default Another Microsoft sabotage victim needs help

Hi! Jon DeMassey here.

I thought I knew my software pretty well. After losing 2 PCs due entirely to Internet Explorer acting as a portal to destructive viruses and malware, I have successfully used Thunderbird/Firefox as my internet clients and blocked IE and Outlook Express with Norton, Ad-Aware, SpyBot etc.

Except of course that Microsoft blackmail us into using their known defective programs by tying the likes of Norton to them and using plug-ins to sabotage Mozilla. This is of course cheaper than actually making an honest attempt to bring their crap programs up to Mozilla's standards.

But now they have a stranglehold on my system. I can no longer use Mozilla because it will not open tabs or windows to upload to the net. I am forced again to allow Microsoft, via IE, and its conspirators (e.g. Norton) to deliberately vandalise my PC, to the point where intruders encouraged by IE have ground my PC to a crawl.

So there are only independent support boards like thecomputerforums left to keep me on the net.

Hopefully you can help me.

The mouse is the culprit not the OS.
