Whoops, I too forgot to introduce myself!

I am Mike and am in England. I trained as a mathematician and was a lecturer for years before moving into computing, specifically Java programming.

I had 3 years when I was the only person on my site with computing expertise so I pretty soon had to learn about hardware as well!

Lately, ill health (big C) has forced me into retirement but I occasionally repair/rebuild/debug people's PCs.

So, at last, HI!
