Hello,
Wondering if anyone here can help us. We have a website called london school of osteopathy and when trying to search for the site e.g. via google, sometimes it adds a "borough" at the end. This then brings us to a different osteopathy school. Why does it not sure our website if borough was added at the end? What ways can we show that our school appears on the results list? Any advice would be much appreciated. |

You are describing Google suggest, basically whatever term you type, Google automatically tries to help you by suggesting other popular searches.
See the examples below; ![]() ![]() In addition, if you want to show up in Google for a chosen phrase then you need that phrase in your page title, meta, H1 and on the page, not all of these but more help. Then it is down to getting other related pages to link to your page using your phrase in the anchor text. Like; Example - The word 'Example' being the anchor text. My System: Hybr!d

When I type in "London school of Osteopathy" in my google bar, the first three or four entries that pop up send he here: http://www.lso.ac.uk/
There is also a map in the first entry. Is that your school? |

Yes,
Its our school thanks. It seems it wont show the site when it adds borough, maybe because the site does not have the word "borough" in any of the pages. |

![]() You could try and be really sly and subliminal, and slip "borough" in as many times as you can without it being obvious and distracting from how the text should read. I do this at school with some mates - so funny to do, but could actually be quite useful in your case. (We don't say borough, though, different things for different lessons, like song titles.. eg. Sir: "What's the matter Ford, you don't look well" Me: "Not sure to be honest sir, I'm 'All Shook Up'")

What would be the point, no one searching Google is adding it to their search string I bet.

Can happen by accident though, I do it all the time, and I don't always realise.
Then again that may just be me.
