Free web hosting tends be be full of their advertisements.

If you take the website seriously I'd recommend getting your own hosting, it's actually very cheap anyway for one website.

For free web hosting try: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...b+hosting&meta=

For paid have a look at www.csnewmedia.co.uk thats who we use.

I use Dreamweaver but it's expensive and there are plenty of alternatives.

Starting a new topic in the correct section will get a better response from other members.

Thanks.

try hosting your website through Purplenova, www.purplenova.com they have a basic free version, and there are no advertisements.

@mxmad32 : Well, I have used Tripod ( http://www.tripod.com ) once and also used GeoCities ( http://www.geocities.com ). Both are free to use but also offer paid versions of their hosting. For the GeoCities one you need to have a Yahoo! account. For the Tripod one you only need to register yourself free and choose the free version of the hosting.

At most free hosting websites, you have a limited storage space ( mostly 20 MB or something like that ).

That's the only down side of it.

I hope this helped you.

Otherwise, I would suggest you just start searching for "free hosting" with Google or another searchengine.

Freeforums.org seems to be a good one!

About good software for developing a website - I use Cofeecup which is very dear software - £360. But it's worth every penny I can assure you that.

Regards Jason :)
