Does anyone here work online?
I do, I am a freelancer and work about 7-8 hours a day (sometimes more). I write articles and reviews, sometimes for major companies and magazines. And you? |

I go to school. I do some online stuff. Edit pictures , write stuff , edit stuff , post on forums. There's so much stuff you can do to make a bit of extra cash , which everyone needs more of.

I am starting to work online full time well at the moment I work online 4 & 1/2 days out of 7 so I would say that's pretty much half time at the moment but hopefully will be full time!

I'm a part time student, and I'm trying to start my own business the rest of the time. Its an online business.
I find it hard to stay motivated though, and confess I do procrastinate a lot! There is money to be made online, but I think a lot of people underestimate how much work is involved. |

I'm a university student with a number of online "positions". Though originally a programmer, I turned to content writing and finally onto web marketing and development which is where I intend to stay for the forseeable future.
Better money, fewer hours, suits me - I loved writing but it was just too time consuming for what it paid coupled with the fact that I have no formal qualifications beyond an English GCSE hence couldn't charge perhaps what I was worth. |

Working online is all I do and I love it. It takes a lot of work to make ends meet but I love the schedule... anytime I want!
I design web sites, run an ebay business, belong to a few affiliate programs, write articles, blogs, and do some SEO consulting. Yes it is a big variety but it takes a lot to make ends meet. Online work is not the gold mine everyone thinks. |

How true, and how I lament missing out an an opportunity I had a few years back in the hosting industry. I'd started a business with a friend and we did very well seeing as though this was back at the start of the hosting "boom". Unfortunately, we were both a little young and a bit naive and ended up going our separate ways.
We sold our clients for around $400, though given the number in todays money that would have been so much more that it pains me to even think about it. But, you live and you learn, and in the grand scheme of things I've tried so many new things that I can't really complain. I work a lot online, though I find it easier to work offline and away from the computer. Distractions can seriously dent your concentration and limit your words per hour immensely! |

I hardly ever work offline. I only go offline when I want to do some Homework.
Apart from that, I am usually online posting on some forums or just finding out about a random subject. |
