Hello,
I hope I'm at the right place, otherwise I ask for forgivness.

This is the deal:
I re-installed Windows XP some months ago. I immediately installed Dreamweaver 8 and it worked fine, until it one day refused to synchronize my files to my server. I re-installed the program but it still didn't work.

Then some weeks ago I decided to upload some flv files which has been working before I re-installed Windows, but now they refuse to be played in any browser. I've installed the latest flash player versions and so on, and finally I got it working in IE, but not in the way it used to work before.

Do you think that there is an error in DW that makes it all screw up? I can watch flash sites and flash videos on other sites, but not locally on my computer, and when I tried to upload it to my server, it did work, but not as it has always worked before.

Could someone please tell me what has happened? And how I can fix this, especially the flash player problem. Nothing I do works now.

I use ftp to upload it.
Yesterday I installed CS3 so now the synchronization works, and the videos works when they are uploaded, but not when they are played locally.

I guess the important thing is that it works when it's uploaded. But if someone has any idea what plugin I am missing, please tell me.

This computer is about 6 years or something like that. I am just waiting to win on the lottery to get my imac I am dreaming about. ;)
