Many thanks, some people don't like Free Templates at all, they want to pay for designers to make their own template, it must be impressional and affective.

TBH I would pay for a site given the choice... but.. these sites are very well designed and conform to all web guidelines SEO etc.

Cant fault them TBH.

I agree that I normally pay for my templates as more than often they are of better quality, but the other day I was just browsing free templates and I found one which looked fabulous and now it looks even better that I'm using it on one of my sites.

I really like some of the designs. In order to get the templates, I have to register at the site and download them to my computer. Is that all there is to it?

I noticed one with red flowers said the photos were for limited use. How would that affect my choosing it to use as my website?

If you are capable of tweaking colours, widths and graphics youself I see no reason not to go with the free ones. It takes very little to make the appearance unique without having to crate or pay for all the code from scratch -- even the pros tend to customise some basic "looks".
