Please bare in mind, just owning a blog with adsense doesn't mean you'll make money. You need to write interesting in depth articles about a niche subject to attract people.

Posting about your life is unlikely to convert to clicks unless you're life is extraordinary.

Fill it with related keywords and do everything you can to get on the search engines.

I make a little bit from my blog, but not enough to brag about. I don't really have a niche i suppose, but I'm thinking of moving into blogging about Cricket, one of my first loves, and with the World cup on at the moment, I might be able to boost my hits enough to make a bit more.

You could try starting a blog at "blogspot." You can advertise with Adsense there.

I think that there's good information in lots of the threads here about making money with a project like that.

I have seen quite a few that use blogspot. I have been thinking about starting a blog. My problem is just finding the right subject matter for me. I have a few ideas though.
