I am looking for a more price friendly hosting company for my sites and came across godaddy.com who seems to offer really low pricing ($6 a month). I was just wondering if anyone has used them for hosting and what their experience has been.... any info would be helpful!

GoDaddy is known more for its domain name registration service. It is one of the top registrars not only because of its pricing system but also because of its prompt customer service. Godaddy is a reputable company. You can entrust your webhosting requirements.

Hi Emma,

I tried godaddy two times and my experience was not good. But everything depends on the type of website you want to put up.

The main problem is the lack of flexibility; with other hostings, if you stress them enough they might change settings in the system to make things work for you. In Godaddy... forget about it, it is like a wall. The customer service is very polite, but there is not way to find solutions.

I have a front end of the wholesale sister of godaddy, and I don't have hosting in my own system. Actually I only use it because the domains are cheaper that way. I tried and when I had a problem they didn't move an inch to help, the most frustrationg part was that they signed with MY company name.
