Everyone has to know about this site, but I just have to say I wouldn't know what to do with out it. GOOGLE!

I use google almost for everything, when ever I need to find something I google. Also some times I use it for spelling mistakes and for word definitions, it's all great!

It my SE of choice too. I prefer it for its simple and fast loading home page, find all the other top ones really cluttered with stuff that doesn't really interest me.

I have to totally agree, just the logo, search box and a white background does it nicely for me.

As I don't have a fast connection it's simple layout reduces loading time a lot!

I have used google for years and I am amazed by how many services they offer now & quite a lot for free.

Google is my favorite by far. As I have dial up, I find it is the fastest loading and it is so versatile that when people ask me for a link or topic, I just say "google" it and they all seem to find it. :D

I am a fan of google to, I have used it many times to find various topics. I think it is a fantastic resource tool and basically it puts everything at your finger tips (makes life a whole lot easier).

Google used to be well in the lead but these days I think people use it more out of habit and for the clean interface. Other engines like msn use pretty much the same sort of algorythm to sort pages to the top.

Really? I find it much harder to get listed in Google.

In google you can actually request that spiders crawl your website where as most search engines you have to wait until they crawl you. My website was listed on google about 4 days before being listed on Yahoo.com and MSN.com . The only other search engine that listed it quick was ask.com and lycos.com

You can submit your site to yahoo and msn--although the page is a little harder to find than for google. I also think that msn search now works better for shopping related stuff. A few web-stores I know now track their msn rating more than their google rank.

Yup, you can manually submit to MSN and Yahoo.
