Hi Guys,
I hope someone can help me here. I am trying to have my website verified in Google Website Verification. They have asked me to copy and paste a piece of HTML into the header page via a Meta Tag. The problem is that I cannot get into the header page to add the following HTML - <meta name="google-site-verification" content="WVE2STqsphggR44FTV3VIoukY0M68Splu7WARsqXK 40" /> I hope i haven't broken any rules posting this here! My webiste is hosted by 123-reg. Any help would be appreciated! |

Use the upload file verification method instead.

Thanks for your reply but I really am a newbie. Do I find the Upload File verification on 123-reg? Sorry if this is a stupid question! |

No, the option will be in Google Webmaster Tools. You upload a file to your domain instead of adding code to the template.
