Go to FILE, SAVE AS and save it, or look for an offline site browsing tool which'll save the lot

Use Notepad, this works better than Word for creating Web pages. Just click on "Start," go to "Accessories," and it should be there. Copy and paste your text from Word to Notepad and then save it. (Be sure to select "all files" in the "save as type" drop-down or it will save it as a txt document.)

I'm having a hard time understanding your question, what exactly do you want to do?Are you saying that if you go to www.yahoo.com, you want to save it's template? If so, if using Internet Explorer, rigth click anywhere on the webpage, click on 'View Source', and it will hopefully open notepad. Once in notepad, click File - Save As, then save it with a name like yahoo.htmlThat will save the template, plus every single word on that webpage, but it will not save the pictures. However, if you manually save the pictures in the same directory as the page you just saved, then you will be able to see the pictures.

Word distorts the page and notepad preserves it because it doesn't change the code.

If you goto View and source or page source, that's probably the best way. Then save it as a .htm file.

i am not quite sure, maybe you can save a whole page in a image with some screen capture software like snagIT and ACA Capture Pro, I think they are good at handle it.
