Hi, I put a banner rotator script on my website. Yes, I was proud of myself to have completed this task and the effect of having all those affiliates jammed all in one box area of my website, then I decided it was not so handsome because some of the affilate banners were animated gifs and it just didn't look right, plus some people may have java turned off on browser and I'm not sure this is an effective measure. I left it up for about a week then I decided it was ugly. Is there a way to rotate banners without using java code, can html or css do it?

Do you want them to roate with each view of the page or rotate through banners without refreshing, like a slide show? If it's the first, PHP will do it for you, it's very easy. If this is what you want send me a PM or reply here and I'll code it out for you. I don't have it to hand. Last edited by crimsonc : 27th Mar 2007 at 02:33 PM.

I want the slide show effect. I don't know how to put a php on my html page Actually I'm interested in both that you speak of. I think the slide show would be good for my html home page, and I think the other option that changes it on page refresh would be great for having on a forum. What do you recommend? I don't have any example to show on this at the moment, but I know I've seen it on the web some place. I don't want to annoy people with ads, but I'd like to put my Commission Junction banners in a nice and neat order and appearance. Thank you!Last edited by XP user : 28th Mar 2007 at 07:43 AM.
