I have been researching ways to make money online and have came across a ton of training programs that i guess are on internet marketing..some free and some have a charge...one i was looking into is free and is called "The 30 day challenge"....has anyone done this or heard anything about it....or does anybody know of any really good programs that are not scams??? also any ideas anybody has please share...most of what i am reading seems like with good search engine placement and marketing one can make huge amounts of money...also if you have an ad for a product from for example amazon and someone clicks on it and ends up buying a different product but went through your link you can still get paid?? stuff like that......i just would like some info on how to go about making money online for some extra cash and eventually big bucks.....please advise.

Trust me, there are no shortcuts. Those eBooks are designed to fleece you of your money by making it sound easy.

One way to make pretty easy money... is to write a book and create a website that pretends to contain all the knowledge and answers required to make money online.
If you get that website high up on a Google search... you can do pretty well. Then you can also write another book, as a sequel to the first one, which could contain yet more useless information that you can use to attempt to fleece your customers once again, into buying a useless eBook that will teach them nothing more than they could learn if they visited the Digital Point Forums ![]() Or you could just pick a hobby, doesn't necessarily have to be related to computers or the net, start a damn good website about it, containing lots of information about the hobby, monetise it with adds and start earning money that you have not fleeced off people! You could also go and buy 1000000000000s of domain names, in the hope that one day a big company (or rich person) will decide that they would like the domain name that you happen to own for their company (or the rich persons blog) and pay you a large some of ££££££ for it, paying off some or maybe more of the money spent on the other 10,000 domain names you had to buy to sell this one, and perhaps making you some profit, if a very rich man bought the domain name! Alternatively, you could get a job in a normal shop .... and then go and blow all the money you earned working in the shop, trying to make a profit online.P.S. Once you create you're money making website, please do not come and spam us with links to you, like the other 1000 people we ban a year who are trying and failing to do the same thing as you. :)

At the end of the day websites cost money and even more to market, this place is thousands in the red.
To get going you could write articles/content for other sites, learn php and wwrite scripts for ppl, learn webdesign and offer a service and so on. There are no secrets it's all work at the end of the day offline or on. |

so if i were to have a website about a hobby get traffic and have ads....how well would that pay, and how hard is it to get advertisements....i mean you can only have so many advertisements...i guess i just dont see how you can make decent money just off of advertisements? or do purchases have to be made from your advertisement link..

Getting traffic is the hard bit, it costs money and time. I have spent thousands and 2 years on this place, so far for no return just debt. But it will come, it's an investment that will pay off in a few years time. Decent advertising networks wont touch you if you don't have fairly good traffic.

The other thing with ppl selling their eBooks is if I had the magic secret to making money online why would I sell it to you for $19.97? Surely I would be too busy practicing what I am selling...
Not to mention I would be adding competition and saturating my winning formula. |

By the way if you want some advice and don't want to pay for it then ask me here. Don't expect specifics but I can give some guidance.
Been making money online over 2 years and despite this place being in the red I do make four figures a month online. |

It is a much of a muchness, if you have a section just for tutorials, then no one ever looks at them, as they go straight to the sub forum they think they need. It was also a pain keeping track of all the threads in a dedicated tutorial section I think. And, it is hard to know when to bend the rules a bit, for example do you put all the Virus stickies in a tutorials section, or do they stay where they are? Having the same content twice is a bad idea. I am sure things will change around as we grow, but for now I think the way the tutorials are at the top of each sub forum is good. But if there were more of them, maybe they would be better in separate forums, and then again, maybe if people thought there was a dedicated place for tutorials, then they would write more of them. Food for thought.
