Default My uncle wants pool league website

My uncle wants me to design him a basic website for his pool league. He wants homepage with logo where you can enter a password and then be able to view updated tables, player lists etc. I've done basic websites before, however I've never used anything with a password, therefore I was wondering what would be the best way to do this and also what would be easiest way to update it. He will be doing so on a weekly basis. Thanks HG

I was thinking about having an excel document for the tables and fixtures, would this be easily editable though??

I dont know much about web design, but why do you need a password for the site? Surely if its only showing fixtures and league tables then it can be open to the public

The best way is to make a forum, most web hosting companies have it in your control hosting panel and its already built, all you have to do is customize it and you can add links to regular webpages with the updated weekly information.
