I've just finished a dreamweaver free trial and was going to buy cs2, I then saw on the website that in a month cs3 would be coming out and so decided to buy that but I need a similar program to use for around a month until cs3 comes out, ...

go to microsoft's web-site and do a search for Expression Web, it's good for a long time as a trial

Try the open source Nvu web authoring program it's free and no trial period.
