I wonder if it is Google or someone else but recently there has been a lot of information on their servers which in the past they refused to give any details on.

They still give out very little info, that said more than the other search engines.

But that is to make them more accessible, to the regular public, which is essential to move beyond just being big in the webmaster circles.

I believe some of it, especially on how their search algorithms work, is mis-information. Or at least a lot of it can be interpreted in multiple ways.

They must be trying to soften up their image to try and gain support for some of their projects.

AKA, street view.

Thousands of people outraged by comprimised privacy.. It'll be interesting to see if Google can hold their ground and keep it, or if it'll get banned, or so many people protest against it that they decide to stop it themselves, so that not everyones against them

It's a shame that the originators of google sold out, but what the hell, who could pass up THAT much cash?

Google is virtually useless nowadays. The ONLY thing that you can count on in a google search NOW is that the first ten pages paid Google a LOT of cash. They have a good algorithm, the new owners however have sold the exploits to others.........
