Default A warning page came up...?

I was browsing through Answers and I clicked on a link that someone put in their answer, and this page came up saying ' Warning, your details are exposed!' It had all my information on the page like that address of the page I was at, what computer I was using and what systen I was running on it, and my location!Any idea what this means and what to do about it?A window came up after that offering to run an antivirus thing, which I selected but then the page just dissapeared! Is my computer safe? I do my banking online and shop online aswell - is it still safe to do so?

It is very easy to get someone's IP address, so don't worry unnecessarily. If you are very stressed about it, go back and copy the link to the offending site and paste it the box in http://www.siteadvisor.com I understand if you are wary about going to anymore sites, but this one if by McAfee (the anti-virus people) and will tell you if there is a danger to your PC or personal information security being stolen. If the worst should happen and there has been sort of breach, then I'd advise registering with http://www.pchelpforum.comIt's free and the people there are all computer experts and very helpful.
