I really want to use Yahoo's own Small Business Web Hosting and Domain, but I've heard a bunch of horror stories about it. I mean, I know that every web hosting company has a lot of BS said about them, because SOMEBODY has to have a bad experience with a company - its just the nature of things.
But, if you recommend Yahoo, great! That means I'm on the right track. If you don't, then what do you recommend? I need unlimited hosting and bandwidth! Thanks!

Rumors went round of Yahoo charging extortionate amounts to renew domains, if that happened you could just transfer them anyway, but I'm sure there was more to it than that. People were kinda hoodwinked if I remember. Anyway I have used Dotster in the USA to buy domains in the past, no issues with them.

I use compila.com - for just £12 + vat per year I get web space AND the domain name. Why buy a name from one supplier and then web space from another? That just raises the total cost. I've placed most of my clients with compila now, apart from some sites I took over that were with another company. I've used compila for over 4 years now and am very happy with the service.

Godaddy, A lot cheaper than other domain registrars and base on my experience they are reliable . In terms of unlimited hosting and bandwidth, choose wisely.. choose the best. it doesn't mean that unlimited hosting and bandwidth also means unlimited CPU and Memory.
