Has anyone paid someone to do some SEO services on their web sites?

If so how do you go about finding someone to do this job for you & how do you know they are trust worthy etc, what should you look for in a good SEO Expert?

For me paying someone is not an option. Its too expensive and I prefer to learn myself for FREE rather then pay someone else for what I see as my laziness.

I have thought about doing it my self, but I have been told to do it correctly I have to learn a fair bit. To be honest I just don't seem to have the time to do my homework on SEO.

I was really thinking about getting into this because you can make alot of money but I don't have a clue how :oops

I would like to pay someone but I have never purchased anything that promotes my website before so I am still skeptical.

Search Engine Optimization believe it or not is not all that complex and just uses common sense.

The more poeple that link to you = the more popular you are

More information = more people coming to find out info

Using the proper keywords = helps the search engine find your site for a particular word

And so on!

Don't get me wrong it does take time but it is easy to learn.
