the question is, what should i do?

I would go for a text editor and html validator but that is personal. Whatever you use make sure it is standards compliant. Wordpress is pretty impressive and will make life a whole lot easier than writing in html!

According to Alexa your site gets millions of visits a day yet I think you'll agree it is fairly basic, doesn't have many pages and no links.

ServerGuy, the site is ranked 1,400 in the world, so unless they are faking their alexa which can be done then yes they are getting millions of visits a month.

And mike alexa is a tracking cookie so it is kind of a grey area, it's far from harmful and does not collect any personal info.

Wordpress offers tons of features, moreover you can extend more usability, search engine optimization and other features adding more plugins.

Whereas creating a website is always a hectic issue. If your purpose of website can be achieved with WP, there is no doubt you should switch to WP.

There are other CMS available in the market, like Drupal, Mambo, Daisey, Joomla etc. Here is a list of Content Management Systems
