I don't have a DS yet, but I would like one - I love the look of Project Rub, and think Brain Age was a cute idea too (call me freakish, but I actually like mental arithmetic).

Does anyone have a DS? Whats the battery life like? Does the touch screen actually survive real life use? The last thing I want to do is buy one and find it broken and useless after a couple of weeks.

I have a DS. So far the battery has been great. I play it and charge it at night. The touch screen is okay. I don't have any scratches on mine because I barely use it. I plan on getting a screen protector though.
