What actually happens when you try to run it?

Have you tried running it as an elevated user (as an admin)?

"Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords has stopped working.

A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will colse the program and notify you if a solution is available."

That pops up when I try to play. LOL every other "feature" on the menu bar works except play game. I can configure it, update it, register it, hear the opening music but I can't play it. I found a "fix" which requires placing a line of code (.dll) somewhere in the file but I don't know how to do that or even if it works.

This may just be one of those games that won't run with Vista.

EDIT: Oh and yes, I tried running as admin. i also tried several different of the compatibility modes.

Have you got a link to this fix?

It should just be a matter of dragging and dropping it into the games program folder.

Gotta be worth a try.

Didn't work, I just tried it. and yes, it was worth a try. Any other suggestions?

Dang, I just saw I only have 13 Gigs of space left on my hard drive. Time to get another raptor and then bug you fellows about RAID. Good thing there is already a tutorial on that here.............

If all you want is more space, then RAID probably isn't the way to go. That will just give you redundency or more speed.

I don't know much about games so hopefully someone else will step in.

Well thanks anyway. Probably a sign from above to start studying my A+ book and not play games lol.
