Default Backing Up Direct2Drive Games

I am running Vista from a Mac, and i didn't give the windows partition enough harddrive space to keep it as a real usuable computer (I wasnt aware that the OS of Vista would take up about 10-15 GB of space).

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to keep a game and the game files Fallout 3 that I downloaded from Direct2Drive.
Is there a way that I can straight copy the game files to an external harddrive and just reload when I repartition my computer?

I'm not too worried about losing the game itself because I can go back into Direct2Drive and just redownload Fallout... but my game files will be lost.

Any help would be awesome!

The game files themselves can be copied over, and transferred back to keep saved games, yes.

However Games like applications need to be installed and will need to be reinstalled afterwards, then just copy the game saves bck into the same file, and it will recognise them and play from them.

NB: I do not in anyway condone illegal downloading or copying of games or any other form of application. Any such action is done at your own risk, and myself, other forum members or the forum itself can not be held responsible.
