Hi,
Need help before I smash my computer to bits have just upgraded it to the spec to run BF2 got a 1.8Ghz CPU, 1 GB ram, NVIDIA 256mb graphics card in the spec requierments of the book. What is going on I load the game up 1st disk works fine load updates still ok then put Special Forces on and all I get is Error send message to microsoft. Tried loading both diske then patching then same. Loaded the 1st disk works fine but not able to load all servers only get 13 where as my mate gets 200 odd. see where I am coming from. Any ideas would be great apart from a new system not got the money. One thing I have noticed Bf1942 did not uninstall right and has left alot of crap on system how do get rid tried loading disk but it recognises all on computer and still wont uninstall.

if you are only getting a few servers its because you have not installed the newest patch

go to the EA site to download the latest patch bundle which will bring you right up to date

to uninstall, go to control panel > add and remove for easy uninstalling

1. Go to your C: drive.
2. Find your program folder.
3. Find EA folder.
4. Delete the Special Forces folder.
5.Reinstall the expansion.
You should be fine after that. That was happing to me and it took me forever to find out that uninstalling from the control panal does not always remove the whole file. So everytime I tried to install the expansion it would kick me out and do that same number to me...It made me sick. ...but try that it should work if it doent im not sure what to do besides reinstalling the whole game. and delete the whole BF2 folder and dont worry about your saved progress EA will place it back like guns and rank.
Peace!
