Still love playing some of the older games like Star Wars Battlefront 2 (online), Counter Strike, Medal of Honor (online), Doom 3, Quake 4, GTA (always mod it), Starship Troopers, UT2004, Wolfenstein ET, even Manhunt when I feel like asphixiating white supremacist arseholes.
Also play lots of COD4, Stalker, Crysis, Half life (2+), UT2004, Fear & Team Fortress 2. |

If you want a GOOD FPS that isn't "scary" (though I'm not sure what you mean by scary since the purpose of an FPS is to run around and kill things) try Call of Duty. The original ones are good (and practically free now) and Call of Duty 2 is just awesome. The idiots released COD3 only for consoles but came back to real gamers with COD4. If you like the single player versions, COD2 is probably the best. Online, multi player, COD4 is better. I got COD4 the second it came out though and blazed through the single player version (hard settings, no wussyboy cheats) in about 6 or 7 hours. Kind of disappointing for (at teh time) 50 bucks. COD2 will take you several days to finish on single player. If you aren't careful, you will actually learn some real history while playing it as well lol.
EDIT: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is also awesome. It combines FPS with RPS and is quite fun (and not scary). |
