go for the wii if you want something a bit different. i dont think their is much difference between the ps2 and the ps3 once you are playing a game.

The PS3 isn't as good as they make it sound. It's terrible compared to the greatness of the ps2. obviously its better, but the ps2 made a much much bigger bang. get the wii. you will be able to get zelda twilight princess, super smash bros. brawl, and other impossibly great franchises. The ps3 has pacman and stuff like that (EEEEWWWWWWWWW!)

The Wii is for children, and the ps3 is for serious gamers, and it plays mp4s.

the wii is diffrent from the ps3 if u have a ps2 but not a wii get a wii if u dont get a ps2. Or just wait a while for the prices to drop which adventually they will

The ps3 has copied xbox360 wii and 3 other game systems! The wii is new different and fun. THe game play is better on wii but the grafics not so good. THe wii is unique but in a good way.

PS3 by far the WII is a kids machine with cartoon like graphics, how can someone say the PS3 copied the 360 ? Its scared microsoft into releasing another 360 in october to bring it up to date with the PS3 ! not a rip off at all paying another £260 for an upgrade is it ? Microsoft are greeeeeedy!

It totally depends what you're after.The PS3 will play the same soulless first-person shooters you've been playing for the last ten years in astounding real-time 3D.Whereas the Wii will give you a novel, quirky gaming experience with inferior graphics.I would say that the Wii is for serious gamers, while the PS3 is for people who are mesmerised by bright lights.
