Do you want online games or not?The entire DOOM series is pretty cool. DOOM III is a little hard to play on the computer though because the controls are set up for console controllers...still pretty cool though.

My favourite game is any of the Command and Conquer series. Can't narrow it down to one of them I'm afraid.

Ditto with the Command & Conquer series! Im really loving-up the latest C&C 3 Tiberium Wars, but I'm stuck on a level and it's winding me up horrid! But then you can just do a skirmish (spelling??) and that keeps me entertained for a couple of hours! Along the same 'Real-time strategy' theme, my girlfriends really into Age Of Mythology at the moment, The 'Age Of' series has always been good too. Also the Battlefield series if you prefer 1st person shooter.

Of course the top game of all time til now was ELITE on the C64 back in the 80s. Now that was game play. Terrible graphics by todays standards but fantastic game play even by todays standards.

Elite! yeah. Forgot all about the lack of life i had back in the day through playing that for all hours.

I do like the Warcraft games (not so much World of Warcraft) I just like the real-time strategy games, I think I still prefer Command & Conquer though.

I don't really play them, however I would say that World of Warcraft, and The Sims are the best titles for the PC. They are easily the most popular games avalible.

For me, it's either Battlefield 2 or Diablo 2.

I've been addicted to Diablo 2 for several years, excellent game.

I hope Diablo 3 is not a rumour and coming out soon. Can't wait! :)

Elite, that takes me back I spent hours, evenings, days on it.... and now it is available for free as Oolite...(under Linux).....

I really really love that game....

Or to wind away the hours Atomic Tanks :-)

But otherwise a little more modern Command And Conquer, simply an excellent series.
