Wasnt sure where to post so sorry if its in the wrong place...My comp is broken so I decided to istall Rome:total war on my moms laptop so i could play it till I fix my own...When I play RTW it works fine but when i quit and close the laptop(goes on standby) when I reopen it I get the BSOD..I restart the computer and it all works fine again...By continuing to use RTW could I permanently damage the laptop or am I safe to keep using it??

what does the blue screen say

top right hand corner second line down it should say something which is normaly a give away to the problem.

you say you reopened it and got BSOD, was this during game or what, when did it happen? programs running etc?

hmm very detailed tutorial...thanks for pointing it out..from the sounds of it,its the intermitent kind...since the error only occurs after I play RTW if I dont reset the laptop I dont think it will cause any irrepairable damage ,do you?Beside its not a huge deal to reset after playing anyway..thanks for the replys.
