Built a computer for gaming. Not the usual gaming build. I only became involved with computers in Jan 2005 when I got my first. So there I was straight into Win XP. About six months later I started building machines, at first with cheap used parts from Ebay, then when I was confident enough, I started with new components. I was also installing Win 98 just for the experience. A few months ago I got copies (not copied but examples) of FS 2000 and Sega Rally which were only compatable with 98 so, what I was saying at the start, I built a computer for these games. Using only used parts the specs are; Celeron 1.7Ghz, Asus P4VP-MX,12Gb HD, 256Mb PC133 RAM, CD and floppy drives and Win 98SE. Works like a dream, starts up quickly and closes down in a flash. Things couldn't have been too bad in Win 98 days.
