Hello, I just bought a new monitor 23 inch samsung 4 inches bigger than my last one so big step up!! (Resolution 1920 x 1080)
Anyways, I have been playing call of duty 4 and decided to put it in a window...I googled how and I had to change the config slighty (changing fullscreen to value 1).. It ran fine no difference except I could use my other monitor whilst playing without having to minimize... I then reinstalled the game due to being banned by accident. Now suddenly, whenever I put it in a window the FPS is at 40 as opposed to 90 originally.... Also I get my usual 90 FPS when at fullscreen....I can't seem to work out why having it in a window would affect the FPS.... I don't think I have changed anything drastic.. Another thing too, when I had it in a window originally the taskbar wasn't visible...now it is... Can anyone help me..? |
