I was just wondering which is better.

I know you likely havn't played on a PS3 yet but compare by experience of the 360 and reviews of the PS3.

I have enough money to get either or and I want one that specializes more in shooting/action and sports games.

What is your suggestion?

Thanks,
Jason

Personally I've always preferred Sony's consoles over Microsoft or Nintendo.

Just like their feel, choice of games and graphics.

You won't be able to tell the performance or graphics apart, choice can only really be down to the games and the look of the machine. Gran Turismo is one of those games you can't live without but the 360 might get more PC clones.

Although I love my 360, I think the PS3 will beat it. Any new technology usually replaces the old. The PS3 has a lot more to offer. I plan on getting the PS3 later on then the price drops. I think 500 dollars is too much money.
