Hi all, just joined the site and already have a dilemma... My laptop is running Windows 7 Release Candidate and my internet connection is through a USB Broadband Modem. I want to connect my old XBox to my laptop using an Ethernet cable to connect to XBox Live, however I'm currently having no luck setting the IP addresses on either the console or laptop. When I tried to configure my XBox 360 to connect to the Internet through the laptop by changing the connection settings for the Modem it worked no problem (If a little slow..)
Would anybody here be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong, or should I try to sort it using a hammer and a blowtorch??????? Currently the old XBox is telling me no cables are connected:4-dontkno:sigh:

Thanks in advance!!!!
