Hello,
Me and a friend of mine have been playing against one another on CS 1.6 (downloaded, STEAM, I think). CS 1.6 has an in-game voice chat, which works, but when he talks it sounds terrible and is barely audible. Is there a way to fix this?
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I'm a bit of a cs 1.6 gamer from Australia myself. How loud does it sound when he is talking? Is the mic in a headset? Is there any damage to the mic?

It's a brand new Logitech mic, and yes, it is attached to a headset.
It sounds quite faint and a bit computery. Extremely hard to make out what he is saying.

turn on or off mic boost in voice options see what happens.

maybe the mic is too close or far away from him
