Hello,
Me and a friend of mine have been playing against one another on CS 1.6 (downloaded, STEAM, I think). CS 1.6 has an in-game voice chat, which works, but when he talks it sounds terrible and is barely audible. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm a bit of a cs 1.6 gamer from Australia myself. How loud does it sound when he is talking? Is the mic in a headset? Is there any damage to the mic?

It's a brand new Logitech mic, and yes, it is attached to a headset.
It sounds quite faint and a bit computery. Extremely hard to make out what he is saying. |

turn on or off mic boost in voice options see what happens.
maybe the mic is too close or far away from him
