Xbox 360 Not Likely To See Divx Support According to Major Nelson the reason the XBOX 360 doesn't support DIVX is that DIVX is used a lot for watching copied DVD's and therefore may never support DIVX. I think managed copies with HD-DVD is what Microsoft is betting on. I can understand Microsoft are reluctant to support a format that is used a hell of a lot for watching downloaded movies but it's a shame as it's a great format for reducing video file size while retaining quality.

LOL..xbox will make a good door stop in the next short period..there are not a lot of "extras" to xbox..that is why sony will remain the dominant player in the console world of gaming
