Hey all, recently I've found myself addicted to these simple stick man games, shooters specifically. And i have all these fresh and imaginative ideas for a simple stick man shooter. I have the story line weapons enemy's etc all worked out to perfection, so i hunted for some freeware to carry out my idea. That's when i come to a halt, any programs i find are either trial for a week or so , or you have to pay. Now I've considered the trial but a friend of mine, (who paid for his software) told me , it takes him on average 100 hours to make 10 minutes worth of game my game will be around 20-30 minutes long... so i'm wondering if anyone could help? a 30+ day trial would do me just fine if there aren't any free software, my game will only be simple remember.

If you want this kind of game you're going to have to do it yourself.

Any game made using software will be trash.

well there used to be a program called game maker, I never rearly worked out how to use most of it, and I'm not sure what sort of games it can create but it's (or alteast it used to be) freeware. Have a look here.
