i'm after a game (preferably FPS) that is able to run on a AMD 2.2Ghz and FX 5200.

I dunno I guess so.
Go and check out 2004s hot FPS games if you want to max them out(or whatever the release year or previous year was for the 5200).

sorry to double post. i can run Half-Life 2 on it on it at 1152 x 864 and everything on high but no ffaa or aapretty smoothly WOW.
