Default graphics issue with farcry

im plying far cry for the first time and ive just started playing the game im at the beginning were you find the hand gun grenades and body armour and then you open the door and it leads to the jungle but when i walk into the jungle the ground is messed up it comes up as blue instead of Greenery do you guys understand me it looks like my GFX card cant handle it but my card is a geforce 7600

it may be that your card is faulty, that you need to update your drivers, or there was an error when you installed the game.

just for good measure, find the latest drivers for your card, and if that fails, since you still are right at the beginning, uninstall it and reinstall and see if it fixes any anomalies. if none of that works, you can safely assume your graphics card is messing up. in which case, you'll need to get a new one obviously.

Just to help you out some, here is the newest drivers for Nvidia cards. I am going to assume that you are running windows XP. If you are not you will need to select the correct OS. http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/winxp...1_whql_uk.html
