what was the main reason of releasing this?

i bought orange box and im working my way through the games but lost coast seems completely pointless?

it starts in the middle of HL2?!

aahh that summed up the crap story line, i read that on wiki but i didnt think they'd go through the fuss of releasing a game for it

just finished episode 2, so im up to date now .... totaly had those uumm, cant remember their name, the big long legged thing at the end

yeh i showed them who's boss haha!

hehe na dont be put off, i dont take to many storylines well, im usually just up for running around css etc like a wolly

but yeh gotta give credit where its due the storyline is a gooden! get it now!

I played all of them except blue shift. ya know whats weird though? in opposing forces Gorgon dies! you see his dead body in front of you! you chase into the portal after him and when you get into the alien world, you see Gordon face on the ground dead! that came as a shock to me!
