Default i need help with the pc game fable?

my screen i dont think is good enough to handle the graphics on fable. my graphics display is in true color, 1024 by 768. but every time i go into fable it says my monitor can't handle the shadow properties. what should i do?

Buy a new graphics card. I don't know about Fable, but on WoW you can change the graphics to lower it. Try in the settings to find graphics and lower it.

My husband had a similar problem, and that was what he did to fix it. Of course, now that he's got the new graphics card, he wants to get ALL new games with better graphics. [sigh]

Shadows are notorious for eating up your card's resources.

Out of interest (and because its pointless buying a top end card with a low end cpu) can you post your system specs please. Then we should be able to point you in the right direction regarding a new card if thats what you're leaning toward.

Also, when you say the monitor states it can't handle the shadows, could you post, verbatim, exactly what the message says.

Buying an new graphics card would work, it would be best to buy the most advance one if you are a serious PC gamer.
